Day 14: Drudgery, Déjà Vu, and the Slow Burn of Soul Dreams

History repeats itself, doesn't it? That déjà vu hits hard—this endless dance with my soul's idealistic vision of homemaking, housewife life, and working from our kitchen table. Down-to-earth reality keeps whispering (shouting?) that dreams like Blackbird Cottage Co. take grit to root, not just wishful longing.

I've quit jobs a million times, chasing joy in this cozy creative life, only to crash into demotivation walls every time. One hard-won lesson sticks, though: you can't wait for motivation—it follows action. Starting anyway pushes me through the fog, even when it's no fun at all. My heart craves inspired, alive homemaking—not this push-through grind. (Sorry if that sounds ungrateful; it's just how it feels.)

Day 14 update: One blog post down, this as number two after a two-week gap. Homemaking? Barely. We've waded through chaos, dark moods, desperation, and constant resistance to build the business - pure drudgery, mundane and bland.

Remember my Post 1 promise? "Stay long enough, and you'll witness dreams being made." Well, friends, it might take a while. 😉

Gratitude shift (Law of Attraction homework): I'm thankful for that motivation hack, even if it's basic. Thankful we're here, writing anyway. And yes—I gave in to the agency job. Said no at first, but their persistence wore me down. Practical me sees the financial win; rebellious soul? Not thrilled. It's short-term, though—praying it brings skills and grace to infuse life into Blackbird Cottage once it's done.
